- Cocoa powder or sugar-free chocolate syrup, for garnish
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 ice cubes
- 3 tablespoons half-and-half
- 3/4 teaspoon decaffeinated espresso powder (or decaffeinated instant coffee granules)
- 1 1/2 scoops (3 tablespoons) chocolate protein shake mix
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
prepration
Combine the water, half-and-half, shake mix, cocoa and espresso powders in a blender; blend until smooth.
With the machine running, add the ice cubes, one at a time, and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass, and garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder or drizzle with sugar-free chocolate syrup, if desired. Serve immediately.
